Manas & Kaziranga 5 days Wildlife Experience

Manas is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its exceptional biodiversity, dense forest cover, and the presence of rare species like the golden langur, pygmy hog, and hispid hare that are not found in Kaziranga. It also sees far fewer tourists, making for a more private wildlife experience.

Tiger sightings do happen in both parks, but they are never guaranteed. Kaziranga has one of the highest tiger densities in India, while Manas's thick forest cover makes sightings rarer but all the more special when they occur.

Elephant safaris take you into areas that jeeps cannot access, allowing you to get very close to rhinos and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Jeep safaris cover larger zones of the park and are better for spotting a wider variety of animals and birds.

Both parks are best visited between November and April. Kaziranga closes during the monsoon season from around May to October due to flooding, while Manas remains partially open but is best avoided during heavy rains.

Yes, entry and safari permits are required for both Manas and Kaziranga and are best booked in advance, especially during the peak winter months.
