Itinerary
Get picked up from Delhi and begin the drive to Shimla, the most iconic hill station in North India. Arrive, check in, and rest up — the hills have a way of easing you in gently.
Drive to Kufri for a morning excursion, taking in the Himalayan National Park, wildlife sanctuary, Green Valley, and Kufri Zoo. Back in Shimla, visit Christ Church, Jakhu Temple, Kali Bari, Scandal Point, and the busy stretch of Lakkar Bazaar.
Check out and begin the scenic drive to Manali, stopping through the Kullu Valley along the way. Visit Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, and the Mini Vaishno Devi Temple, with an option to try paragliding or river rafting before continuing to Manali for the night.
Head to Solang Valley in the morning for glacier views and adventure activities — paragliding, zorbing, horse riding, or snow scooters depending on the season. In the afternoon, visit Manali's local highlights: Hadimba Temple, Van Vihar, Vashisht Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, and Mall Road.
Check out and drive to Dharamshala, stopping en route at the Palampur Tea Gardens — a wide stretch of green terraced fields with the Dhauladhar range in the background. Arrive in Dharamshala and check in for the night.
Spend the morning exploring Dharamshala's highlights — McLeodganj, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Nag Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, and the famous cricket stadium set against the mountains. Drive to Dalhousie in the afternoon and settle in for the evening.
Take a full day trip to Khajjiar, a wide meadow ringed by deodar forests with a lake at its centre, often called India's Mini Switzerland. Try zorbing or paragliding if available, and return to Dalhousie in the evening.
Check out after breakfast and drive back to Delhi, wrapping up a trip that covered the best of Himachal across eight well-spent days.
