Itinerary
Drive to Kasol, a small riverside town in the Parvati Valley that draws travellers with its easy pace and natural setting. Arrive and spend the evening by the Parvati River, which is reason enough to be here.
Drive to Barshaini and begin the trek to Kheerganga, a high-altitude clearing in the mountains known for its natural hot spring pools. It's a few hours of walking through forests and river trails, and spending a night up here, far from noise and signal, is something you won't forget easily.
Descend back to Barshaini and drive to Jibhi, a quiet mountain village surrounded by thick forests and wooden houses. It's the kind of place that slows everything down, and that's exactly the point.
Explore the nearby village of Shoja and the viewpoints around it before driving into Tirthan Valley, one of Himachal's most peaceful and least crowded destinations. Settle in by the river as the day winds down.
Have a last slow morning in the valley before heading back to Chandigarh. This trail doesn't have the usual hill station rush, and that's what makes it worth doing.
