Itinerary
Drive to Tirthan Valley, one of Himachal's best-kept secrets tucked along the banks of the Tirthan River. Arrive, settle in, and spend the evening by the riverside — the kind of quiet that reminds you why you needed this trip.
Spend the day exploring the edges of the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its untouched forests and rich wildlife. Walk through the trails at your own pace and stop at nearby villages to see how life moves in this part of the mountains.
Drive up to Jalori Pass and take a light trek through pine and oak forests to the serene Serolsar Lake, where a small temple sits quietly by the water. It's not a difficult walk, but the views and the stillness along the way make it one of the highlights of the trip.
Have a last breakfast by the river before beginning the drive back to Chandigarh. Tirthan has a way of growing on you slowly, and chances are you'll already be thinking about coming back.
