Manali Sissu and Kasol Mountain Escape

Begin your trip with a visit to the Hadimba Temple, a centuries-old wooden shrine tucked inside a dense forest that feels unlike any temple you've seen before. Walk through Van Vihar for a quiet hour among the trees, then spend the evening exploring Old Manali's cafés and picking up the vibe along Mall Road.

Drive through the Atal Tunnel and emerge into Sissu, a wide open valley with snow-capped peaks on all sides and a stillness that's hard to find anywhere else. On the way back, stop at Solang Valley for adventure activities — from zorbing and skiing in winter to cable car rides and paragliding in summer.

Drive down to Kasol, a small riverside town in the Parvati Valley with a personality of its own. Take a walk to the nearby village of Chalal, sit by the river for a while, and spend the evening browsing the cafés that have made Kasol a favourite among travellers.

Start the morning with a visit to Manikaran Sahib, a sacred Sikh and Hindu pilgrimage site known for its natural hot springs and calm atmosphere. Head back to Kasol in the evening and board your overnight Volvo back to Delhi.
